I didn't get into the elopement industry just to take pretty photos at cool places (though it is one of the perks!). I got into it because I know what it's like to feel the weight of other people's expectations when all you want is something that feels true to who you are.
In an industry that's so tied to tradition and all the “shoulds”, it's easy to lose sight of what actually matters. But I truly believe that the less forced your day is, the more authentically you'll move through it. and when you're able to just be fully present, fully yourselves, looking back on your photos will be that much more powerful, knowing that you chose to be fully present in your love on your wedding day.
My job goes farrrr beyond just showing up with a camera. I create space for you to feel everything, to protect the meaning of your day, and to make sure you walk away with a gallery that doesn't just show what happened, but actually brings you right back to how it felt.

TLDR: Alexis Pollard Photo is a stunning choice. Not only is Alexis a talented photographer and storyteller, but she is also an amazing friendly person who brings so much joy and fun into photography sessions, capturing your most treasured memories.
Long version: I found Alexis on Instagram after searching every hashtag I could and scrolling through online portfolios. After dozens of inquiries and discovery calls, my husband and I sat down with Alexis for our call and just started yapping away with an instant matched energy connection. We were about to end the call before we even talked about the photos (LOL)! She is professional, approachable, relatable, and most of all adaptable to make sure that your day is so special and captured. Looking at our gallery, she even captured details I didn't notice at first glance. All this to say, that you could not ask for a better person to handle the task of your day!
